What does 'Reduce large images to a max width' do?
Sometimes image, such as those taken with your digital camera, can be overly large. To make such images comfortably fit everyone's screen, we recommend reducing to a width of 1024. This maintains a sharp full screen display of the photo, while at the same time being a much quicker download.
What does 'Optimize images' do?
Some image sizes can be extremely large because of unnecessary tags and the compression format of the image. This optimizes your images by removing such tags, and improving compression to reduce download time by an average of 20-50% -- without any noticeable difference in quality.
